The Ultimate Gauge Board is currently designed to accept 5V input and daisy chaining, so if you’d like to connect it directly to a car battery or power source, you’ll need to reduce the voltage and protect the circuit.
This 14V Power Protection Board is designed as a clip on extension to the Ultimate Gauge Board, and can be used on each board individually, or just before your daisy chain in order to protect and power up to three boards at once.
As of launch day, this add-on is still being designed and finalised, but it will be ready when the first round of boards are shipped.
